Esther Productions Inc. believes that the arts can guide each person to her path and purpose, shattering along the way internal and external obstacles while building personal confidence and achieving self-actualization. Therefore, it strategically uses literature, the visual arts, drama and dance to achieve its mission of healing, inspiring and empowering women and girls.
Equally important, Esther Productions Inc. presents an array of workshops, symposia, conferences, cultural performances , exhibitions and scholarly, humanities-related lectures. The organization also publishes books--poetry, short story collections and creative nonfiction--that showcase the creativity of the population it serves or that are designed to preserve, present and celebrate the cultural history of African Americans and other communities of color.
Esther Productions Inc.'s programs are offered under three categories: Creators' Quest, Resiliency Discovered and The Memoir Project. The Literary History Center is a division of The Memoir Project.
