CREATORS’ QUEST:
The arts, culture and humanities nurture the soul and stimulate the mind. They bring material and spiritual wealth to underserved or under-resourced communities. Esther Productions Inc. presents, sponsors or promotes genre specific workshops for adults and youth. These programs are led by seasoned professional authors, visual artists, dancers and performers.

The goals of CREATOR’S QUEST are to support and expand the community of artists along with cultural and humanities experts; to improve the quality of art produced locally and nationally; to grow the audience for the arts and the humanities; and to use arts, culture and humanities to empower women and girls throughout the United States.
Esther Productions Inc. directly produces and promotes the following activities through CREATORS’ QUEST:

Kaleidoscope Women’s Writing Collective: If you dream in poetry or imagine whole short stories or plays while standing in the checkout line and you are 15 or older, Kaleidoscope is for you. The professionally facilitated collective meets virtually every month to provide peer support, critiquing of their literary work, and share information about opportunities available for writers.
MIDNIGHTROSE: A Reading Series of Poetry and Prose. Multigenerational and multicultural MidnightRose is designed to bring the voices of emerging and established writers to the public either in-person or virtually.

Writers showcased during the series are selected by an Esther Productions Inc. established advisory committee. Individuals interested in reading during the series are invited to write to midnightrosereading@gmail.com

ESTHER BOOKS publishes poetry chapbooks and collections of essays, including those related to African American and women’s literary history. It is a division of Esther Productions, begun in 2019. It produces books by participants from its various programs, including the Me, Myself Our Story: Creative Writing Institute and Kaleidoscope Women’s Writing Collective. It plans to produce two books from these programs in 2025 and will branch out to publish at least one poetry collection from an unaffiliated writer who entered and won our new writing contest that launches summer of that year.
